Eco Swap Guide was born from firsthand experience with environmental devastation. The team’s roots trace back to a farming family in the Philippines, where watching their parents harvest fresh fruits and vegetables in their backyard, surrounded by mountains and trees, fostered a deep connection to nature as a healing place. But this connection came with witnessing the devastating impact of increasingly intense typhoons, illegal logging, unchecked developments, and environmental destruction that left communities struggling and families grieving over lost livelihoods, homes, and loved ones.

Yet the team refuses to give in to despair.
