This website is born out of inspiration, frustration, and hope.

Growing up in a family of farmers, I watched my parents till the land and harvest fresh fruits and vegetables from our backyard. With mountains and trees surrounding our home, I always felt at peace. Nature was—and still is—my healing place. I dreamed that one day I’d have my own house with a garden, just like theirs.

But growing up in the Philippines also means braving an average of 20 typhoons each year, with 8 to 9 making landfall. Scientific evidence shows that typhoons in the Ring of Fire have grown more intense over the past decade due to climate change. Add to that the lack of strict environmental accountability—making way for illegal logging, mining, and unchecked housing developments—and the destruction becomes even more devastating. I’ve watched communities struggle, people grieve over lost livelihoods, destroyed homes, and loved ones gone too soon.
